The most popular of the Korean martial arts, Tae Kwon Do teaches more than to just kick and punch. It teaches discipline, enhancing your spirit and life by training your mind and body.
“Tae Kwon Do” means “the art of kicking and punching.” We trace its heritage back over 2000 years, to an ancient defensive martial art called Subak or Takkyeon.
The core of martial arts is based on making good decisions, and understanding the concept of timing in any situation; alongside the physical abilities that it provides.
Tae Kwon Do should be used only for the defense of self or others when the situation deems it necessary.
We honor our Korean heritage by instilling in students both a sense of pride and responsibility, so they understand the right way to be a student of Tae Kwon Do.
